Viability Thresholds

The allegiance faction has 3 data concerning the statuses; they indicate the viability threshold for each each of them and are used to calculate the outcome of the colonization at the end of the phase.

Since the player's colony can start the game being fully independent, or independent into specific statuses, these viability threshold can also have a value equal to zero. In this case no CPS Objectives of these statuses will be generated for the setup of the colonization phase.

The reverse is also possible; one or two statuses start the game dependent and/or semi-dependent and cannot have their levels changed by the player's action after the colonization phase. Like for the previous case, no CPS Objectives of these statuses will be generated for the setup of the colonization phase.

The complete details of the viability thresholds are below:

Line of Credit

In regard of the chosen faction of allegiance, the type of expedition and the backstory, the player can have access to a line of credit (LoC).

This LoC will serve to the player to buy goods and services which could help during the colonization phase. The drawback is that more credit is used more it's impacted on CVS and reduce the chance to reach the independence goals.

Since it's a form of credit, this LoC is not free, and the colony will have to pay it back with an interest rate.

The LoC table below indicates 2 data: the credit range allocated and the range of interest rate:
